“Many popular Windows apps have no proper alternatives on Linux”
What is a “proper” alternative? What would 5 examples of these “popular” apps with no alternatives be?
For personal use, I dumped Vista in 2012 in favor of Linux Mint. I’ve found -nothing- I can’t do in those 13 years. Additionally, I haven’t had to put up with the BS that MS is constantly forcing on its long-suffering users. Linux is simply different - not harder.
As always, breaking bad habits can take a while - but it’s better for your health. (And your pocketbook, in this case.)
Try and play Destiny 2 lol. Mostly that complaint refers to games with anticheat, commercial software and some hardware, and people who just CAN’T use anything other than adobe products because of their own personal choice.
