still skeptical. tried every update and nothing has changed my mind that I still want my money back. perhaps being able to walk in ships. I doubt it but yeah…maybe…

What would you say would enable you to get your money’s worth? I just had a feeling the game wouldn’t live up to the hype and felt pretty smug when it flopped. Then years later I grabbed it for cheap because I was bored and there had been a free update. I have put over 100 hours into it.

My only complaint is something feels off about the shooting, but the stuff they have been adding has been great and gives more things to do outside of just base building.

not sure tbh. Everytime I’ve booted it up the game felt bland and just boring. game loop was not fun, I didn’t enjoy anything with the ships. once you got some cash, it was just a huge grind to get the same thing that costs more with a higher letter. it was huge andany planets, sure…but they all felt the same.

Yeah, i played it a little while back and really don’t get the appeal. Ignoring the bad ui; it doesn’t have a selling point. Like, it does a few things alright, but doesn’t do anything really good. If you want to build you don’t want this game, if you want exploration you probably don’t want this game, if you want combat you definitely don’t want this game, if you want space shenanigans you don’t want this game.

You can walk around on (parts of) capital ships, the smaller support frigates that follow them (though that’s only used for repairs), and the corvettes added in this update. The only ships you can’t explore are the single-person fighters the game started out with, which makes perfect sense given their size.
