Hi all. I am getting sick of the stick drift on the Xbox and PlayStation controllers, so I’ve started looking into 3rd party controllers with hall effect. Two kept popping up, flydigi and 8bitdo. If anyone owns one of these, how’s their support on Linux? Do they work out of the box? Just plug in the dongle and you’re good to go? Are they stable? I don’t ever use any other buttons than the main ones, so I think won’t need their software. Unless even the main ones needs programming! Do they? Thanks in advance

Hey, coming back to this comment. Would you be able to share how you setup your controller to wake up the system from suspend? I’ve been trying for a while, but nothing works. Do I have to be in steam game mode, or can it be done on normal desktop mine on Cachy OS?

I don’t remember all the steps, but it had nothing to do with the controller itself.

I had to edit system configuration - I entered the identifier of the motherboard USB device, and I told the system to allow it to wake the system from sleep. I’d have to search for the actual steps.
