Mine actually. I’m in the United States, but I actually switched banks. And the vast majority of the reason I did so was because my bank did not allow me to use the website to use their functionality. And so I said fuck you and left them.

Sounds like it’s time to use the website and not the app. And if you can’t use the website instead of an app, you should probably switch banks.
Does anybody know how I might go about restarting the equivalent of Springboard on Android? I’m using Lineage OS, and I noticed that after a while my sounds stop working for notifications. But the other day, my Springboard style thing crashed and took me back to the lock screen, but then my sounds worked afterwards without having to reboot. Reloting the launcher is not enough.
I want to say I had the AB partitioning unlike the Google Pixel 1 or Nexus 6P or something like that. It’s been a long time ago and I don’t even want to think of not having them anymore. The fact that they waited this long to adopt it just seems kind of dumb.
Wait, really? They have not had that feature until now? That’s fucking ridiculous. Considering I’ve had it on my $200 one plus for three years and my $200 Motorola’s for years before that.
How might I go about relaunching springboard on Android? At least on iOS back in the day, it used to be called springboard, where it would reset the launcher, and you actually got booted back to the lock screen. Reason I ask is because I am on lineage OS and for whatever reason, after a while, my notification sounds stop working and I have to reboot my phone in order to get them back. But I saw yesterday that my springboard reloaded and the sounds came back as well. So I’m wondering how to force that instead of having to do a full reboot cycle. Note that I do not have and will not use root.
Personally, when I’m looking at a new device, I look for the width because I really don’t like phones that are more than about 75 millimeters wide, because then when you add a case onto it, it starts to get uncomfortable to hold in the hand, at least for me.
I miss my Nexus 6P. I loved how that phone felt with the aluminum
Good. Longer device support is always a good thing and anything that makes that easier is a good thing as well. Computers can feasibly be updated for a decade or longer, and so smartphones should be able to achieve some of that as well.
Oh yeah, I knew that you needed a license for this one obviously, but I did not know a mesh testic device could do that high of power. I did not know it was capable of doing so.
More powerful, meshtastic is only allowed to use part 97 power, which is 0.1 watts, where this thing, since it’s licensed, uses one watt of power. The nodes don’t need to be nearly as close in this case.
How much you want to bet that this is not going to be a feature in AOSP, but will only be on the Google versions of Android.
I love the thought and detail put into articles like this.
The nord n200 is 2021
I’ve had the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus Nord N200 and I’ve not seen those things occur but thanks for the information.
Pixel or OnePlus
You don’t, or at least I never have. Once it’s gone, it’s just gone.
To my knowledge, every single one. It’s called the Backspace Key.

I did this back in 2019, but basically kept my Google account around for several years afterwards, just in case there was something I absolutely needed to get into it for. When I found myself only using it less than once a year, I deleted it entirely in January of 2023, and I have not had a Google account since that time.
